Salam Eid Adha - 27 Nov 2009

Ini actually entry yg terkesiangan.. mcm biasa la, mana sempat nk mencorat-coret nih... Yg ni pun ku cobak-cobak mencuri masa terluang yang hanya bbrp minit shj...

Jumaat, 27Nov2009 umat Islam menyambut Eid Adha... nothing significant this year... sbb aku tak balik KB... so ended up kitorg beraya di RTB je lah... After ayah & a.ngah balik dr solat eid adha di masjid, kami terus ke rumah babysitter... bawak soto ku adn makan ramai2 dgn family babysitter kat rumah dia... Menu bbsitter ku pulak nasi impit dgn sambal udang petai + rendang ayam pencen + kuah kacang. Kenyang la kami pagi tu.. time nak balik rumah, bbsitter tapaukan lagi lauk pauk utk kami... selamaattt... tghr aku tak yah masak.. hehehe...

Hari raya ke-2, hari utk sembelih kambing akikah abg ngah... abah & ma sampai dlm kul 2.30pm from KB... kebetulan kami tgh lunch, jemput diorg lunch skali.. then at 3.30pm, kambing akikah sampai.
Aku pakai pes kuzi yg aku sendiri jual.. heheh.. Pes Kuzi Seri tunjung... senang, sedap dan sungguh mudah.. tak payah nak kupas2 bwg whatsoever... just tumis sekejap je pes segera kuzi tu...

Resepi Kuzi Kambing

28 peket pes kuzi -
1 labu Bwg putih *
2 inci Halia *
sepeket Zat param*
(*bwg putih + halia ditumbuk, then mix dgn zat param utk diperap bersama kambing - sy perap selama 2 jam)
3 tin susu cair
3 kg bawang merah - dihiris dan digoreng, kemudian diblend sampai hancur (utk memekat dan memberi rasa lemak manis pd kuzi)
Garam & gula secukup rasa (sy pakai dlm 3 keping nisey dr kelate..heheh.. pakai gula kureng sedap di tekak kami...)

Cara buat
senang je...
1) tumis sekejap pes2 kuzi td... jgn sampai hangit...
2) then masukkan air - tgk la nk kuah byk mana...
3) nampak dah nak mendidih air tu, masukkan kambing yg telah digoreng 1/2 masak td...
4) masukkan palk susu cair + garam + gula
5) then masukkan bwg yg telah diblender dgn sedikit air + susu cair td
6) kacau dan kacau.... sampai mengelegak dan masak...

gambar 1 - daging kambing + tulang sedia utk diperap

gambar 2 - selingan...abah tgh 'meratah' kepala kambing utk dimasak... diorg duk pakat berebut makan otak kambing... sedap nampak.. tp sy tak makan.. hehehe

gambar 3 - pes2 kuzi sebyk 24 peket dibuka oleh asst chef (for info, 1 peket pes kuzi utk 500gm ayam/kambing)

gambar 5 - daging yang diperap bersama dgn bwg putih + halia + zat param

gambar 6 - setelah 2 jam diperap, dgg + tulang digoreng separa masak terlebih dahulu... dlm 2 jam jugak kami nak menghabiskan menggoreng 14kg kambing - pakai kuali biasa... kuali kawah takde plak...

gamabr 7 - 2 org asst chef masak tgh mengacau kuzi atas dapur (mak su & che su)

gamabr 8 - selingan... tadaaa.... kuzi yg dah masak....

Utk masak seekor kambing, kami mengambil masa dlm 5-6jam setel semua... fuhh.. penat badan tp puas hati masak sendiri.. kalau nk sub suruh org lain masak, caj more tahn RM400 satu kambing... Tp kalau masak sendiri, gotong royog anak beranak, kos tak sampai pun RM150.. hehehe... Separuh dr kuzi dlm periuk besar tu sy sedekah pd rumah anak yatim. Kuzi ni amat sesuai utk masakan akikah sbb dia ada semau rasa, masam, masin, manis gitu...

Ok, ini cara family saya buat kuzi... selamat menjamu selera...
gambar selinagn - Ma & mak su kat dapur... ma... the Iron Chef for Kuzi ...heheheh... TQ ma... I love u!

Mee Kari Goreng Yatie

Ok, yg ni plak resipi mee goreng biasa yg dah di-improvise. Sebenarnya, nk cuba rasa lain dr biasa.. asyik2 pakai bumbu yg common kan, apa kata kita modify sket and tambah perasa. So, the outcome?? Mmm... nyummm... ada rasa lain sket dr mee goreng kebiasaan.. sedap pd tekak chef yg tak bertauliah ni. Hehehe... anak2 suka, bapak anak pun suka... mama nya sempat rasa sejemput je... gambar yg amik ni pun yg last portion ada dlm kuali.

So, sudi2kanlah mencuba resipi yg common tp rasa yg tak common.

2 sudu besar serbuk kari
3-4 s/b sos tiram
3-4 s/b sos cili
sedikit air
200g udang
sawi / taugeh (sy tak masukkan. xde stok)
garam dan gula secukup rasa
1 bj telur
mee kuning sepeket

1) Bhn2 * kat atas sy tumbuk bersama utk dijadikan bumbu - then tumis sehingga naik bau.
2) Agak2 bumbu dah separuh masak, masukkan serbuk kari, gaul rata... tumis lagi just utk bg serbuk kari td masak dan sebati dgn bumbu.
3) Masukkan sos tiram and sos cili. Tumis lagi.
4) Masukkan air sikit kalau terasa bumbu tu pekat sgt. Tp jgn byk, kalau byk sgt, tak lekat plak pd mee nanti.
5) Then masukkan udang. Tumis sampai udang masak.
6) Perisakan dgn garam dan gula
7) Tuang mee / kuey teow. Goreng mee / k.t sampai sebati.
8) Kalau suka, pecahkan telur kat tepi kuali, kacau2 bg pecah, then gaulkan dlm mee td.
9) Dah siap.. boleh hidang. Can also tabur segala daun bwg kalau suka.

Muffin Coklat

Ok, alang2 tgh kecahkan dapur dgn muffin durian tu, langsung skali lah buat muffin coklat ni kat abg ngah... sebok nk mkn kek katanya... dah lama jugak tak bake apa2 kat anak2 ku kat rumah, almaklum... mama diorg ni 'over rajin'. If only i have somebody to help me to take-over kerja2 yg tak berkesudahan kat rumah tu... i can happily indulge in this hobby of mine... tp dek kerana kepenatan dgn keja2 lain, nk memasak pun dah jadi tak larat...

Oh, back to this recipe, senang banget!! I loikkkeee it very much. And i will definitely do the same recipe again2 and again in future. Dpt recipe ni dr blog MakLang Azie. Thx MakLang! And thax to yani from Myresepi for sharing this resipi.

Abg Ngah loved it very much! Saje je i baked dlm muffin cups yg kecitt-kecit tu... bg senang budak2 tu mkn.. skali ngap trus masuk mulut... Satu adunan ni dpt 24 pcs of small muffin + 2 medium souffle cups. Can't compalint much cos the small muffins turned out to be so delicious... nyumm..nyumm... (gambar blur cos snap dgn hf)

So, give it a try! Jgn tgk pd rupa, kena rasa pd lidah.. hehehe...

Muffin Coklat
Sumber : Yani (myresepi)

Bahan
200g coklat masakan
70g mentega
2 biji telur
50g gula halus
60g tepung gandum
1 sudu kecil baking powder

Cara
Cairkan coklat. Gunakan kaedah "double boiler" .
Kemudian masukkan mentega. Kacau sehingga mentega cair.
Selepas tu bolehlah panaskan oven sehingga suhu 170C
Dalam mangkuk lain, masukkan telur dan gula. Kacau sampai sebati. Tak perlu penaik(kembang).
Masukkan telur ke dalam mangkuk coklat. Kacau biar campuran sebati
Bakar selama 20 minit.
Selepas masak tu, mungkin muffin ni lembik sikit( sebab hanya sedikit tepung yg digunakan) tapi bila dah sejuk dia akan keras dengan sendiri. Jadi kalau lepas 20 minit tu, masih lembik tak payah bakar semula

Durian Muffins

Oh yess... semlm tgk dlm freezer, ada 2 tubs durian lagi... Ari tu dah mask bubur kacang durian... nk buat pengat durian, malam2 ni takde la plak santan... Hmm... teringat lak ari tu Chef Tania ada share resepi muffin durian. Terasa nk try... Well, ini first time buat resepi utk kek pakai durian, sblm ni tak confident. Now pun bukan confident sgt pun, tp kalau tak cuba sampai bila nk pandai kan...

Ok, ini resepi ori dr Chef Tania. TQ chef for sharing this wonderful recipe. I just make half of the batter.. sbb timbang2 durian in 1 tub tu, just dpt 300gm je.

I need to improve more. Byk mistake rasanya.
Firstly, at the time nk scoop batter into muffin cup, the batter seems very sticky. Why? Is it because over beaten? I suspect because masa lepas durian tu masak, dia belum betul2 sejuk, i poured the mixture into the batter. Ada impact ka?
2ndly, my choc chips (which i pour in 1-2 mins b4 scooping) melted in the batter. Jadi x cantik la my muffin (compare le gambar muffin chef tania dgn muffin i... huhuhu... malu weihh...) Maybe bcos the batter is still suam2 kuku?? So need tor eally wait until the batter / mixture betul2 sejuk dulu?
3rdly, after dah masak, my muffin tak fluffy, berat je... mcm kek bantat... but rasa alhamdulillah... sedap. This is the 2nd tiem i bake muffin, 1st time bake pun, mcm tu jugak... berat... How to do a very fluffy & light muffin?

Ok, give it a try. Jgn tgk pd rupa, kena rasa pd lidah. Heheheh...

Berdoalah...

Dato' Dr Haron Din

(Surah al-Ghafir, ayat 60)
Firman Allah (mafhumnya): "Apabila hamba-Ku bertanyamu tentang Aku hai Muhammad, maka jawablah Aku (Allah) amat hampir dengan mereka, Aku memenuhi doa yang memohon kepada-Ku. Maka mereka hendaklah memenuhi perintah-Ku dan mereka beriman kepada-Ku agar mereka sentiasa mendapat petunjuk. (Surah al-Baqarah, ayat 186)
Alhamdulillah, Allah SWT memakbulkan doa baginda selepas zaman Nabi Muhammad s.a.w., malah sehingga hari ini semakin jelas doa Nabi Ibrahim a.s., seolah-olah baru dimakbulkan.
Kadang-kadang doa kita dimakbulkan cepat, kadang-kadang lambat.
Mengenai soalan saudara, pernahkah doa Rasulullah sendiri ditolak Allah, jawapannya, ya. Memang doa Nabi s.a.w. pernah ditolak. Kadangkala doa baginda pun ditolak.
Bagaimanapun kebanyakan doa-doa Nabi s.a.w. dimakbulkan Allah SWT.
Wallahua'lam.

Fawcett became a symbol of the will to survive through her years-long battle with cancer, which was chronicled in the recent TV documentary "Farrah's Story."
Her death comes on the heels of O'Neal's declaration that she agreed to marry him.
"I've asked her to marry me, again, and she's agreed," O'Neal, 68, told Barbara Walters who sat down with O'Neal and others close to Fawcett in the final days of the actress' life.
Fawcett and O'Neal began dating in 1980 and lived together with son Redmond. The two never officially tied the knot, but not for O'Neal's lack of trying.
"I used to ask her to marry me all the time," he said. "But ... it just got to be a joke, you know. We just joked about it."

King of Pop Michael Jackson is dead: official

Just got the news this morning. Feel like to note this in my blog for future reference...who knows...

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Michael Jackson, the child star turned King of Pop who set the world dancing but whose musical genius was overshadowed by a bizarre lifestyle and sex scandals, died on Thursday. He was 50.
Jackson was pronounced dead at about 2:26 p.m. PDT (5:26 EDT) after arriving at a Los Angeles hospital in full cardiac arrest, said Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County Coroner's office. The cause of death was not known and an autopsy would likely take place on Friday, he said.

Jackson's sudden death had been reported earlier by U.S. media, which said he was taken ill at his home and rushed to the hospital by paramedics who found him not breathing when they arrived.

Known as the "King of Pop," for hits that included "Thriller" and "Billie Jean," Jackson's dramatic, one-gloved stage presence and innovative dance moves were imitated by legions of fans around the world.
He transformed music videos and his lifetime record sales tally is believed to be around 750 million, which, added to the 13 Grammy Awards he received, made him one of the most successful entertainers of all time.

But Jackson's belief that "I am Peter Pan in my heart", his preference for the company of children, his friendship with a chimp, his high-pitched voice and numerous plastic surgeries also earned him critics and the nickname "Wacko Jacko."

Jackson, who had lived as a virtual recluse since his acquittal in 2005 on charges of child molestation, had been scheduled to launch a comeback tour from London next month.

Quincy Jones, who helped arrange the music on the album "Thriller" and produced the "Off the Wall" album, told MSNBC: "I am absolutely devastated at this tragic and unexpected news."
"For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don't have the words. I've lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him."

SOLD-OUT SHOWS
Jackson had been due to start a series of concerts in London on July 13 running until March 2010. The singer had been rehearsing in the Los Angeles area for the past two months. The shows for the 50 London concerts sold out within minutes of going on sale in March.

"Rarely has the world received a gift with the magnitude of artistry, talent, and vision as Michael Jackson," said Neil Portnow, president and CEO of The Recording Academy in a statement.
"He was a true musical icon whose identifiable voice, innovative dance moves, stunning musical versatility, and sheer star power carried him from childhood to worldwide acclaim."

There were concerns about Jackson's health in recent years but the promoters of the London shows, AEG Live, said in March that Jackson had passed a 4-1/2 hour physical examination with independent doctors.

Outside the hospital in Los Angeles about 200 fans and reporters gathered on Thursday, waiting for confirmation of Jackson's death or condition.

Some fans were crying and hugging each other, and others were climbing atop fences to get a better look at a microphone stand where a news conference was supposed to take place.

"I hope he's gone to God, and I hope that he's free of all the troubles he's been plagued with," Tonya Blazer, 50, who said she had been a fan going back more than four decades to his days as a child star.
"I just feel like I'm paying tribute to him," said Dawn Burgess, 42, a fan who said she had posters of Michael pinned to her bedroom wall when she was a child.

CHILD STAR TO MEGASTAR
Jackson was born on August 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana, the seventh of nine children. Five Jackson boys -- Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael -- first performed together at a talent show when Michael was 6. They walked off with first prize and went on to become a best-selling band, The Jackson Five, and then The Jackson 5.

Jackson made his first solo album in 1972, and released "Thriller" in 1982, which became a smash hit that yielded seven top-10 singles. The album sold 21 million copies in the United States and at least 27 million worldwide.
The next year, he unveiled his signature "moonwalk" dance move while performing "Billie Jean" during an NBC special.

In 1994, Jackson married Elvis Presley's only child, Lisa Marie, but the marriage ended in divorce in 1996. Jackson married Debbie Rowe the same year and had two children, before splitting in 1999. The couple never lived together.

Jackson has three children named Prince Michael I, Paris Michael and Prince Michael II, known for his brief public appearance when his father held him over the railing of a hotel balcony, causing widespread criticism.
New Yorkers and tourists in the city's Times Square were shocked at the news of Jackson's death.

"I don't know what to say. It's sad, it's really, really sad," said Nicole Smith, an 18-year-old student from Brooklyn, New York, in Times Square. "My mother was a fan. I listened to his music."

"I'm shocked. I thought someone was lying to me when I first heard it. I was a fan from when he was a little boy and then he got weird," said Sue Sheider, 51, a teacher from Long Island.

K by Clarks - my investment

Dah lama tak masuk sini. Tak berkesempatan...plus sebok sket skrg nih... Hmmm... nk citer pe ye? Oh ye... suppose entry ni aku tulis a month ago tp mcm biasalah, kalau dah connections asyik out je, buhsan plak jadinya.

So citenye gini... jgn salah sangka kalau tgk gambar2 kat bwh tu... aku saje nak abadikan kenangan membeli kasut mahal dlm hidup aku nih. Oh well, maybe for org lain, biasa2 je harga kasut Clarks ni tp bagi aku.. ohhh... kopak purse beb!!! Ini le kali pertama dlm seumur hidup aku beli kasut mahal nih - it costs me a whopping RM278 for this new pair!! Apparently, salesgirl tu kata this is the latest design, so no less maaa.....

Why, if i think it's so expensive, i still bought it? Heheh... this is why..
1) My dearest hubby 'cucuk' me to buy this pair - reason dia, takpe, beli le yg mahal terus, at least last longer... worth the price paid.
Huhh??? Ada ke kasut tht can last more than 3 years??? Kalau dah kasut tuuu je yg dipakai evryday... takde kasut lain, i think jangka hayat dia sethaun je cukup le kot...

2) I have been suffering from sakit kaki, sakit tumit and segala yg berkaitan dgn kaki. So alternatively, i gave in to my hubby's persuasion cos i think Clarks is a good brand for feet therapy. And indeed, it's true.. after a month wearing it, the pair feel so good and comfortable on my feet. Boleh berjalan jauh la... and my pain is reduced.
So betul la org kata, quality comes with a price. U have to pay for the good & reliable items.

3) Other design which costs lesser than the above looks so old on my feet, which makes me look like aunty-aunty aged 50++. So again, doesn't meet my purpose for a brand new shoes - comfortable, nice & trendy, and affordable.
I'm stil young at heart... heheheh....

So my dear baby Clarks, be tough... don't show yr wear & tear yet until u are 2 years old on my feet... heheheh...

Kids at KB (School hols 30may09 - 14june09)

We went back hometown last weekend - to fetch my kids home. They have been there during the first week of school holidays, following Tok Ma & Tok Abah back home. So, before the last weekend of school holiday approach us, we better get them back here first in order to avoid massive traffic later.

Fuhh... it's refreshing.. to be back to where you grew older and wiser.... Wish to stay longer but work..work...and work.... normal excuse that we can't avoid... sigh...

I noticed my kids are a bit chubbier and fairer for a week of hometown vacation. So, their Tok Abah and Tok Ma's conclusion is tht mama (me!) doesn't feed them enough here! Uhh...
Having this idea of schooling them there but a lot of things need to be considered. plus, Ayah is not really into that idea... having to be parted with his kids for sometime. only meet during school holidays??? Emm... don't think so lah he said....

So this is the duo that we fetched to be with us again. Pix a bit blur, snap at night with cameraphone. K.Long & A.Ngah, welcome back home. Ayah, mama and adik really miss both of u! Subject: Thoughtful Lesson

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.'

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend.

He asked her, 'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?' The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him.
Her boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to hersaying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.'

This is how the human brain often works when our status changes.Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who was always by their side in the most painful situations.

Life Is aGift
Today before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someonewho has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someonewho's crying out to GOD for a companion.

Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who diedtoo early on this earth.

Before you complain about your children - Think of someone whodesires children but they're barren..

Before you argue about your dirty house someone didn't clean orsweep - Think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before whining about the distance you drive Think of someone whowalks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had yourjob.

But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another - Remember that not one of us is without sin.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile onyour face and think: you're alive and stillaround.

I PRAY THIS MOVES AROUND
THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE...

Too beautiful not to share.......

Raising Muslim Daughters

Raising Muslim Daughters. Resources and information for raising daughters ... Talibiddeen Jr.

and we need to ponder what are the best ways we can raise the trust ( amanah ) that Allah had bestow upon us.

Lets look at what Allah said in Surah Luqman and how many of us have done the same by way of tafseer of these verses or explaining in depth to our children :

13. And (remember) when Luqmân said to his son when he was advising him: "O my son! Join not in worship others with Allâh. Verily! Joining others in worship with Allâh is a great Zûlm (wrong) indeed.[]

14. And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is in two years give thanks to Me and to your parents, unto Me is the final destination[].

15. But if they (both) strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, but behave with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who turns to Me in repentance and in obedience. Then to Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do.

16. "O my son! If it be (anything) equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed, and though it be in a rock, or in the heavens or in the earth, Allâh will bring it forth. Verily, Allâh is Subtle (in bringing out that grain), WellAware (of its place).

17. "O my son! AqimisSalât (perform AsSalât), enjoin (people) for AlMa'rûf (Islâmic Monotheism and all that is good), and forbid (people) from AlMunkar (i.e. disbelief in the Oneness of Allâh, polytheism of all kinds and all that is evil and bad), and bear with patience whatever befall you. Verily! These are some of the important commandments ordered by Allâh with no exemption.

18. "And turn not your face away from men with pride, nor walk in insolence through the earth. Verily, Allâh likes not each arrogant boaster[].

19. "And be moderate (or show no insolence) in your walking, and lower your voice. Verily, the harshest of all voices is the voice (braying) of the ass."

20. See you not (O men) that Allâh has subjected for you whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, and has completed and perfected His Graces upon you, (both) apparent (i.e Islâmic Monotheism, and the lawful pleasures of this world, including health, good looks, etc.) and hidden [i.e. One's Faith in Allâh (of Islâmic Monotheism) knowledge, wisdom, guidance for doing righteous deeds, and also the pleasures and delights of the Hereafter in Paradise, etc.]? Yet of mankind is he who disputes about Allâh without knowledge or guidance or a Book giving light!

21. And when it is said to them: "Follow that which Allâh has sent down", they say: "Nay, we shall follow that which we found our fathers (following). " (Would they do so) even if Shaitân (Satan) invites them to the torment of the Fire.

22. And whosoever submits his face (himself) to Allâh [i.e.(follows Allâh's Religion of Islâmic Monotheism), worships Allâh (Alone) with sincere Faith in the
(1) Oneness of His Lordship,
(2) Oneness of His worship, and
(3) Oneness of His Names and Qualities],
while he is a Muhsin (gooddoer i.e. performs good deeds totally for Allâh's sake without any show-off or to gain praise or fame etc. and does them in accordance with the Sunnah of Allâh's Messenger Muhammad SAW), then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold [Lâ ilâha ill-Allâh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh)]. And to Allâh return all matters for decision.

23. And whoever disbelieved, let not his disbelief grieve you (O Muhammad SAW),. to Us is their return, and We shall inform them what they have done. Verily, Allâh is the AllKnower of what is in the breasts (of men

[ 102]Such is Allaah, your Lord, none has the right to be worshipped but He, the Creator of all things. "So worship Him (alone)and He is the Wakeel (Trustee ,Disposer of affairs, Guardian),over all things." [Quran, Ch. 6, 102; translated meaning

INFO : Terapi Pernafasan Untuk Sakit Kepala & Keletihan

(Our noses have left and right nostrils. Are these nostrils having the same function for inhaling/"breathe- in" and exhaling/"breathe- out"?).

Sebenarnya fungsinya tidak sama dan dapat kita rasakan bezanya, sebelah kanan mewakili matahari (mengeluarkan panas ) dan sebelah kiri mewakili bulan (mengeluarkan dingin ).( Actually it's not the same and we can feel the difference. Accordingly, the right side represents the sun/"heat" and the left side represents the moon/"cold") .

Jika sakit kepala , cubalah menutup lubang hidung sebelah kanan dan bernafaslah melalui hidung sebelah kiri dan lakukan kira-kira 5 minit , sakit kepala akan sembuh .
( When having headache, try to close your right nostril and use your left nostril to do breathing for about 5 min. The headache will be gone).

Jika anda merasa lelah , tutuplah lubang hidung sebelah kiri dan bernafaslah melalui hidung sebelah kanan . Lakukan ulang-alik . Tak lama kemudian, anda akan merasakan segar kembali. Sebab lubang hidung sebelah kanan mengeluarkan panas, sehingga banyak sekali panas , lubang hidung sebelah kiri mengeluarkan dingin .
(If you feel too tired, do it the opposite way. Close your left nostril and breathe through your right nostril. After a while, you will feel refresh again. Because the right side belongs to heat, so it gets hot easily. The left side gets cold easily).

(Women breathe mainly with their left nostril, so they get calm down easily. Men breathe mostly with their right nostril, so they get angry easily).

( When we wake up, do we notice which nostril breathes faster? Is it the left side or the right side ? If the left nostril breathes faster, you will feel very tired. Close your left nostril and use your right nostril for breathing and you will get refresh quickly)

(You can teach your kids about it. The effect of breathing therapy is much better for adults).

Ikan Patin Bercili Serai

Ok... aku ni memang x reti masak.... tp dah kawen, aku terpaksa berubah demi suami dan anak2.... So aku mula berkenal2an dgn grup RN (Resipi.net) sejurus selepas aku kawen, rasanya dlm tahun 2003 kot. Since then aku jd ahli setia membaca setiap coretan dan feedback resepi ahli2 aktif RN. Aku plak, jd ahli tingkap je... drooling each time members posted their yummylicious dishes in the group.

So, sedar tak sedar, dah more than 5 years aku jd RN member. Should be something changes in my cooking life, right? Yes, rite... aku skrg dah tak takut nk mencuba sesuatu resepi yg baru... and modified sesuke hati... kalau dolu, ikut resepi sejibik-sejibik.. kalau bhn dlm resepi tu xde kat umah, alamat tak de le aku nk masak resepi tuh...

Nway, bila dtg something yg diluar kbiasaan, cuak jugak aku dibuatnya. Last week, babysitter 'hadiahkan' aku ikan patin, hasil dr pancingan anak dia... 2 ekor... lagi sekor aku pun tak tahu ikan apa... Alahaiii.... ni 1st time dpt cabaran masak ikan patin nih... teringat member RN (esp K.Anim) selalu bg feedback masak lemak tempoyak patin nih... teringin nk cuba le... akan tetapi, main ingredients nye idok le ku jumpe... sehingga ikan tu ku rasa kalau tak diusahakan, akan kembali lah ia ke dalam 'anak sungai' blkg umh aku tu...

jadi, dgn apa yg ada je at dapur tu, ku msak le ikan patin serai bercili. Hmm... ok la, tekak aku mmg sesuai sbb aku mmg suke ikan bercili nih... cuma aku improvise masuk serai je... rasa lain sket la dr masak cili biasa tuh...

Nk resepi??? Kuang..kuang..kuang... wat malu jer ler... resepi biasa2 jer.. campak apa yg ada... tp demi utk rujukan anak2 ku diwaktu mendatang, ku coretkan lah serba sedikit yg ku ingat yer.... Selamat Mencuba!!

Sports Day Kak Long - 090509

Wahh... nice date they pick for a sports day huh... My eldest has been anxious waiting for this day to come... It all started a week before that, she's ben saying that she wanted to go to Tesco, near Jugra... my husband and i were puzzled as to where does she knew about TESCO and Jugra (cos we 've been to TESCO not even 5 times since it opened in 2007, i think)? Bit by bit we learn that the teacher has been communicating this to the students everyday... to remind them of their coming event.

So, early Sat morning, i woke the kids up... ehemm..ehem... plus the father too... After popping in some nuggets and currypuff, off we go to Stadium Jugra. On the way, oh well... it looks like Jugra is wet.... and indeed, it's raining when we arrived at the stadium... and yes, K.Long was a bit late... so i had to usher her to her contingen with all her friends in the middle of the field.. (hmm... glamer mama on the run in the rain...;-) )

They started off the event with Doa, followed by marching in of contingents (there were 4 contingents ), then a pledge recited by my son's neighbour, enthusiast Faris who is also K.Long's classmate... and Sporting Doa from another boy from another contingent and then the event started.

It was a nice rainy day for kids.. esp for my lil'ones, Adek, as she can stomp the wet track, splash it here and there..... once in a lifetime chance huh...

Overall, eventho K.Long's Green team grabbed 3rd spot for all events, i'm so proud of you dear... Next time we'll try again, okay? The kids got the same presents for all placing, no matter whether they bagged as a champion, runner up or 2nd runner up.

Do enjoy some of the photos tht ayah & mama able to capture. Cherish this as we will do, cos this moment will never repeat itself again... Next time, it will be entirely different moment.... We love you, dear...
